The nazis forgiveness

The nazi I think does deserve pity. He Asked for a new so he could ask for forgiveness. I think he is sorry enough because it said "his thoughts were once again centered on himself and he was filled with self pity." just because he is full of self pity don't mean he shouldn't deserve everyone's pity. He is asking for the Jews forgiveness, I think as a symbol for all the Jews, do he won't feel bad and will die in peace. "I cannot die without coming clean" I think he wants forgiveness for all the stuff he has done in the past.

Forgiveness

A man who shoots his best friend because he is being chased by a angry mob, does not deserve forgivness.  It is still murder and and its still wrong. Even if he gains forgivness he will be punished and face the consequences. He already has the guilt of the murder I dont think having the disgust of everyone is going to help him out. I think that he should be forgiven and punished.

Sharing a compassion with someone is like sharing a secret
what we share is an art and it speaks to us like any other person
why do we care for each other, is it because we feel a guilty conscious if we don't
or is it because we have a soft spot for humanity itself
philanthropy is caring, it is compassion, and it is a moral obligation
if everyone practiced philanthropy the world would have a lot less problems
and more of a caring society
our problems can not be solved with selfishness

advertisement analysis

     The piglet expresses against animal cruelty, the purpose supports the tone of the advertisment. The expression on the pig's face was deppressed. The expression suggest that the tone was sorrow. The company that is taking donations know that alot of people will feel sorry for the piglet and make them want to donate.
    The tone of this story is sorrow. The advertisement is black and white which emphasized the sorrow tone. Instead of having a happy colorful picture it was dark and dull. I feel like the happiness was being drained from the picture everytime i looked at it. The picture looks gloomy.
    I think the purpose of this advertisement is to get us to donate and raise awarness for animal cruelty. Tey attract people's attention to the pig. They make it seem innocent then you read the passage next to it and u feel sorry for the pig. It was convincing people to donate by making them feel guilt.
    The advertisement uses the pig to show a sad tone. People will feel sorry for the pig and donate. They do not like to see animals in distress.
